Warming up the map
A teach allais is an Irish sweat house: small stone huts heated with turf fires, used across the island for centuries. Today there are over 300 saunas on the island, most of them opened in the last few years. This map puts every one we know of in one place, North and South.
Teach Allais is an independent guide. Listings come from public sources and from saunas themselves. Saunas marked Verified have confirmed their details. Always check times and prices with the sauna before you go.
